Domagoj is a highly accomplished software engineer with a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Zagreb. During his academic studies, he received both the Chancellor's Award for academic success during his Master's program and the Dean's Award as one of the top 1% students during his Bachelor's program. Domagoj's research in machine learning has been recognized by the Ericsson Nikola Tesla prize for the best student paper in ICT, which focused on using machine learning to optimize network performance.

Before joining Janea Systems, Domagoj spent over two years at Microsoft, where he played a key role in developing content and user comment moderation services. He has also worked on projects related to modern workplace transformation, showcasing his ability to work across diverse domains. Furthermore, Domagoj spent a year as a machine learning researcher, where he focused on developing a service for the automated extraction of events from news articles using natural language processing.

In his free time, Domagoj enjoys promoting science, reading books, and playing board games. He also volunteers at a non-profit youth research center, teaching students about programming and science.
